Shipping, Returns & Refunds Policy

Thank you for supporting an independent Australian artist, author and publisher.

Every book, greeting card, bookmark, limited edition print and original artwork is created with care and professionally produced to a high standard. We want you to be delighted with your purchase. If something isn't right, we're here to help.


Shipping

We currently ship within Australia only.

We do not offer international shipping through our online store.

If you are a genuine overseas collector interested in purchasing an original artwork or limited edition print, you are welcome to contact us at bluebird@optusnet.com.au. International requests may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

We do not supply products for resale through third-party marketplaces without prior written agreement.


Returns

We offer a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days from receiving your order to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, items must:

  • Be unused and in their original condition.
  • Be returned in their original packaging where possible.
  • Be accompanied by proof of purchase.

To request a return, please email bluebird@optusnet.com.au before sending any item back.

Returns sent without prior approval cannot be accepted. If your return is approved, we will provide instructions on how and where to return your item.


Books, Greeting Cards & Bookmarks

Books, greeting cards and bookmarks may be returned within 30 days provided they are unused, undamaged and in a resalable condition.

If your order arrives damaged or you receive an incorrect item, please contact us as soon as possible so we can arrange a replacement or refund.


Original Artworks & Limited Edition Prints

Original artworks and limited edition prints require special care due to their unique nature and specialised shipping requirements.

If your artwork or limited edition print arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

Please include:

  • Your order number.
  • Clear photographs of the artwork or print.
  • Photographs of the packaging and shipping carton.
  • Photographs showing any visible damage.

Before any original artwork or limited edition print is returned, we may arrange a phone or Microsoft Teams consultation to assess the condition and discuss the most appropriate solution. This helps avoid unnecessary shipping and ensures the safest outcome for the artwork.

Please do not return original artworks or limited edition prints without prior written authorisation.

Returns for change of mind are not accepted for original artworks or limited edition prints.


Damaged or Incorrect Orders

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives.

If your item is damaged, faulty or incorrect, please contact us promptly so we can assess the issue and work with you to resolve it as quickly as possible.


Exchanges

If you would like to exchange an eligible item, please contact us first. Where appropriate, we will advise the best way to arrange an exchange or replacement.


Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Original artworks (change of mind).
  • Limited edition prints (change of mind).
  • Personalised or custom-made products.
  • Gift cards.
  • Clearance or sale items.

If you are unsure whether your purchase is eligible for return, please contact us before placing your order.


Refunds

Once your returned item has been received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.

If your refund is approved, it will be processed to your original payment method. Please allow up to 10 business days for your financial institution to complete the transaction.

If more than 15 business days have passed since your refund was approved, please contact us at bluebird@optusnet.com.au.


Colour Accuracy

Every effort has been made to accurately represent the colours of our books, greeting cards, bookmarks, limited edition prints and original artworks.

Due to differences in screen settings, device displays and printing processes, colours may vary slightly from those viewed online. Such variations are considered normal and are not regarded as a fault.

As each original artwork is individually created, slight variations in texture, brushwork and finish are part of its unique character and are not considered defects.
