Mars - Imagine Series

Mars is part of the Imagine series, inspired by an exploration of celestial symbolism, sacred geometry, and esoteric traditions including Hermetic philosophy, Mysticism, and Theosophy. Read more in my book called Imagine.

Drawing on the classical symbolism historically associated with the planet Mars — action, courage, protection — the work reflects an archetype of directed force and purposeful will. An eagle, like a shield, and a distant figure, like a spear, become symbols of direction, will, and devotion through action. You may have heard "Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus", which reflects the energetic polarity of these planetary archetypes, with Mars expressing the principle of action, protection, and directed will.

The planets remind us that opposing energies seek balance. Masculine and feminine energies must exist in harmony — a perfect yin and yang — to imagine utopia. Perhaps the question is not whether balance is possible, but whether humanity is willing to return to it.
