The Emperor and the Tower are both part of the Imagine series, inspired by a deep exploration of symbolism and spiritual philosophy. This body of work draws influence from artists such as Hilma af Klint, alongside traditions including Mysticism, Theosophy, Anthroposophy, and Jungian psychology.

Inspired by tarot archetypes in their positive expression:
The Emperor represents structure, leadership, stability, and grounded authority. It speaks to the energy of building strong foundations, making clear decisions, and stepping into personal power with confidence and integrity. This piece invites the viewer to reflect on their own sense of direction and discipline—where order can support growth, and where strength can be balanced with wisdom.
The Tower represents transformation, revelation, and the breaking of illusion. It reflects the moment when structures that no longer serve collapse, creating space for clarity, truth, and renewal. The romantic insight: sometimes life removes what was never meant to contain us. The Tower tarot archetype speaks to the beauty hidden within transformation. As Meister Eckhart suggested: “And suddenly you know: it’s time to start something new and trust the magic of beginnings.”

As with all works in the Imagine series, symbolism plays a central role. You are encouraged to bring your own interpretation and intention to the piece, allowing it to hold personal meaning within your space.
