Online Art of Tarot Class (Adults 16+)
💼 What is The Art of the Tarot?
This engaging online course explores tarot as both a visual art form and a rich symbolic language. Across one term, students will journey through the 78-card tarot system, examining its history, symbolism, and artistic evolution.
Starts July 23 @ 7pm Thursday Nights
2 hours x 10 weeks Online (ends Sept 24)
This class approaches tarot as a tool for creative expression, personal reflection, and visual storytelling. It is a guided art experience, a guided journaling practice, and an introduction to reading tarot—all woven together in an accessible and inspiring way.
This course is designed for beginners and hobby-level artists—if you can draw a cat with guidance, you’ll feel right at home.
Tip: As this is an online class, you’re welcome to share materials with a friend. However, each student must have their own watercolour journal.
Students will:
- Discover the origins and evolution of tarot imagery
- Explore symbolism and archetypes within the cards
- Experience a range of artistic interpretations across time and cultures
- Develop a personal Tarot Art Journal, combining mixed media, sketching, and written reflection
